The snow was coming down heavy, so went out in my local area with my camera to see if I could find anything interesting. On my usual walk, I came across this tree along göta kanal. The snowstorm had put a good amount of snow on the branches, and the contrast between the dark bark and the white snow really makes for a wonderful photograph. Meanwhile, the small branches are almost completely covered in snow. In the background you can see the thousands of snowflakes coming down. The scene is intimidating with the branches almost coming out of the photograph and wrapping around you. Just the right amount of the tree is in the frame.
